Welcome to my Blog

July 14, 2010

This will be a very personal look into my life and all the chaos in it. I hope to entice you with my many anecdotes on motherhood, college life and care-giving. I also hope to make laugh, cry, and get angry. My life is far from simple: it is complex entity, ever evolving and full of emotion. I hope to share that emotion with you, and for a brief moment in time, transport you into a different world. A world which may be much like your own, or as opposite to your own as north and south. Will you take a journey with me, where ever it may lead? A journey with me, the mysterious gypsy?

  1. Nikke,

You seem very complex and aware of every detail that surrounds you. How did you make this blog so professional?? I look forward to getting to know you throughout this class, as well as getting some helpful tips?

I would love to live and work in California once I graduate - how do you like LA?

  2. Jason:

This is my third layout, I couldn't make up my mind. I am thinking of changing this one too. I use templates, by the way. Google free blogger templates, there are tons of templates that are very easy to install.

L.A. is awesome, you meet so many different characters. The nightlife is crazy and the people crazier. It is fun though, you would like it here.

Whatever tips you need, feel free to reach out to me. My tips are free and I love to give them.

  3. Lashika,

Thank You. L.A. is really not all that fast paced. It's an experience for sure, but Los Angeles is all about a laid-back attitude and fun times!

I hope to get to know you better, too.

  4. Hi Nikke, It took me a minute to figure this one out too. I think it is just me. I fumble around until I get it right.
L.A. huh? My brother lives in CA somewhere around San Fran. He's been there for years and I have never visited him. I lived in WA for 3 years and could have gone many times but just never got around to it.
See ya around and thanks for letting me into your mysterious life. This should be fun.

  5. Ande,

Yes. I like to be a bit dramatic, I need to keep you interested, no? I have quite the ability to dramatize through the use of my pen, or keyboard. I have family in northern California as well, San Francisco is so nice! I like it very much. Sacramento is also beautiful--I went there for a press conference when I was 17. Outside of California, I have only lived in Arizona and Missouri (Ha ha, for like a month). I have stopped in some cities when I had flight transfers, but wish I could visit more states of our great nation. I particularly would love to visit New York. Anyway, I do hope to entertain you with my antics! I also hope to get to know you better. Take care!

    ~Nikke

  6. From what I have read so far I think that I would like you a lot. I hope to get to know you a bit more through these blogs. I never blogged or even thought about blogging before this class. I have a hard time expressing myself and my feelings. I hope to move back to northern california again. I once lived there but now I am in Washington.
